LAVOIR was born from a simple place: home.
From kitchens filled with steam, from folded linen placed carefully at the end of a bed, from hands that knew how to care without ever calling it work.
It is an homage to the women who raised me — mothers, grandmothers, aunts — for whom looking after a home was an act of love, patience, and quiet pride. Not a chore. A practice.
« Le soin du linge est le symbole du foyer. »
The care we give to linen is the care we give to our home.
— Mamie Lou
Much of what we know about care is learned by watching, not being told. You notice the way a sheet is folded. The way a cloth is wrung. The way something clean smells different from something merely washed.
LAVOIR is built from that memory. Each formula is designed to be gentle, effective, and considered. The perfume is soft and familiar — inspired by what laundry should smell like, not by what fragrance sells. The objects themselves are restrained and practical, made to belong naturally in your home.
Not perfect. Not clinical. Just done properly — the way it was always done, before convenience replaced care.
Because linen remembers.
