At the heart of La Lessive is a Marseille soap base, made from saponified vegetable oils. It gives the product its traditional character and connects LAVOIR to the rituals of French laundry care.

Water carries the formula and gives La Lessive its liquid form. It makes the product easy to pour, easy to dose, and simple to use in the rhythm of everyday life.

A natural part of the soap
Glycerin is naturally present from the soap-making process. It is part of what remains when vegetable oils are transformed into soap.
It belongs in the background — not added for effect, but present as part of the soap’s simple composition.

The perfume was chosen to echo the feeling of fresh sheets, warm air and laundry drying outside. It is a nod to the kind of clean that feels familiar rather than artificial.

Kept simple, used with care
La Lessive is preservative-free. Its alkaline soap chemistry helps keep the unopened bottle stable when stored correctly.
Once opened, it should be kept cool, closed and away from direct sunlight, then used within 12 weeks.
From Cheltenham, with French roots
LAVOIR began with a memory: my grandmother’s laundry drying in the garden, the kind of clean that belonged to summer, family and home.
La Lessive is made to honour that feeling — French in spirit, carefully prepared in Cheltenham, and released in limited batches.
La Lessive is designed for everyday laundry. Shake gently before use, dose with care, and store in a cool, dry place. Use within 12 weeks of opening.
