Coming soon — first batch, limited release.

Register your interest below and you’ll be told before anyone else. The first batch is small.

La Brume de Linge is LAVOIR’s linen mist, a fine spray for refreshing cloth between washes, carrying the same signature perfume as La Lessive, composed in Grasse, France.

Two ingredients. Alcohol, and the perfume. Nothing else — no water, no fixatives, no softening agents.

For a bed made in the morning and wanted again at night. A jumper worn twice. Curtains that have held a closed room too long. Cushions, a coat in the hall, a drawer of folded linen, the inside of a wardrobe.

The alcohol carries the fragrance into the fibres and then leaves. What stays behind is the perfume, and nothing that could stiffen, mark or dull the cloth.

It isn’t a substitute for washing. It refreshes what is already clean, and buys a little more time between washes.

Made in small batches in Cheltenham. Filled into a 250ml spray, made to be kept and refilled.

How to use it

Hold the bottle about 30cm from the fabric and mist lightly — you want a haze, not a damp patch. Let it dry before the cloth is worn or slept in.

Bed linen and pillows. Cushions and throws. Curtains. A jumper or a coat between wears. The inside of a wardrobe, a drawer, a suitcase.

Test on a hidden area first. Not for silk, leather, or fabrics marked dry-clean only. For fabric only — not for use on skin.

Refillable

The spray bottle is the part you keep. When it’s empty, refill it from a 250ml tin — the same metal tin as La Lessive, at a smaller scale.

No plastic pouch, no plastic bottle, no film. Metal, and a lid. The refill costs less than the spray because you are only buying what goes inside it.

The feeling

A bed remade.
Linen dried outside.
A clean, quiet perfume, never sharp, never loud.

FAQ

What is actually in it? Two things — alcohol and our signature perfume, composed in Grasse. No water, no starch, no softening agents.

What do I use it on? Bed linen, pillows, cushions, curtains, clothes between wears, and the inside of wardrobes and drawers. Anything clean that you want to freshen.

Does it replace washing? No. It refreshes what is already clean and buys a little more time between washes.

Will it mark my linen? The alcohol carries the perfume into the fibres and then evaporates, so nothing is left to stiffen or mark the cloth. Test on a hidden area first, and avoid silk and leather.

How does the refill work? You keep the spray bottle and refill it from a 250ml tin — the same metal tin as La Lessive, at a smaller scale. No plastic pouch, no plastic bottle.

Is it the same perfume as La Lessive? Yes — the same signature perfume, certified in Grasse, France.
