There's a reason linen has been washed with soap for centuries. Not detergent — soap. The kind made from vegetable oils, saponified slowly, without the synthetic surfactants and optical brighteners that most modern laundry products rely on.
Linen is a living fabric. It softens with every wash, holds scent gently, and rewards care. But it's also sensitive — to harsh chemistry, to high heat, to anything that strips rather than cleans.
The case for soap

How to wash linen with La Lessive
Use 30–40ml per wash at 30°C or 40°C. For stubborn marks, treat the fabric first, then wash as usual. Avoid high spin speeds — linen dries quickly and doesn't need them. Dry flat or on a line. Iron slightly damp for the best result.
That's it. No complicated routine. Just clean, soft fabric — and a bathroom that smells like something worth keeping.
